Writing Letters
Hi SmaqQers,
Occasionally we write letters!
'Don't forget about those in prison. Suffer with them as though you were there yourself. Share the sorrow of those being mistreated, as though you feel their pain in your own bodies.'
Hebrews 13:3.
'Lord... when did we ever see you sick or in prison? And the King will tell them, "I assure you that when you loved the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it unto me." ' Jesus, Matthew 25:39-40.
The link below will hopefully take you to the letter-writing section of the wonderful Voice of the Martyrs Organization, who help Christian Prisoners-of-Conscience.
A Prisoner-of-Conscience is someone who is in jail for their beliefs, not because they have committed a crime.
When writing a letter to a Prisoners-of-Conscience please do not mention Voice of the Martyrs or prisoner alert. Also do not mention anything about the government of the country in which they are imprisoned.
You will have the opportunity to add phrases translated to the Prisoners-of-Conscience's language as well as add some an English message that someone else may be able to translate for them.

Pray about your letters and pray for the prisoners. Ask God to make a way for the letters to reach the prisoners.
Using the translation program, write a letter to two or three prisoners, and print or save the letters.
Give them to us when you can. We will send them to the prisoners at their jails.
Who are they? And what are their stories
